Zach St. Clair

About Me and All That Good Stuff

I stumbled into media work 5 years ago and have been entranced by it ever since. While at school, I worked at Kansas State Libraries running social media and learning how to develop audience engagement strategies, and also the fine line to walk between managing a brand and just posting jokes. I worked at Wildcat 91.9, K-State's College Radio Station, where— among other things— I hosted and produced ridiculous shows, made all-over-the-place podcasts, and generally had a great time while bettering my audio skills.

Now, I've just finished an internship at NPR where I was building on all of that. I worked on Ask Me Another, helping produce my favorite podcast. I was also part of the NPR Interns audience engagement team, helping create and execute social media strategies while also just posting (what I thought were) stellar jokes.

Going forward, I'm looking for a job where I can keep getting better at what I'm doing— a job where I can try out a lot of different things, experiment a little, and learn as much as possible.
